And yes! We are indeed making a new site and actually sticking to it. So nice! But s'not finished yet. Anyway.. Done another interview with the cheeky Morgan's Puff Adder punks, done a little bit of an interview with Jonny Moon Ska and thats about it.. Sorry for not having many up-dates on here, trying to get new site finished asap.

Captain Everything interview was done yet again and failed to work YET AGAIN! Third time lucky - she says.
Pictures added to bands page - sorry they're not that great (I like them though).
Wall's review has appeared and a lovely new "Thank You" page is up for all you nice people. New gig/tour dates up also! Go have a look.
If you're wondering (which I doubt you are) what happened to that super cool new website.. it's still here! Just never bothered using it nor updating it. You may still have a look though - www14.brinkster.com/capdown (it was a capdown fansite at once point).
We are, however, getting incredibly fed up of using this crappy web template builder turd, so we (wall - not me) HAVE (believe it or not) began work on yet another "new" website (why don't you use the capdown fansite? - long story). I have no idea when it'll be usable, but it looks a lot nicer than what you see here. sort of.
so yeah, yaay!

A big THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all you annoying little sods who didn't point out my spelling mistakes in the lightyear and whitmore interviews!! I had to find them all by myself.. ass holes.
Captain *yay* everything! are playing on the 1st feb. You all probably already know that because of my generosity with the flyers (sorry sam!). EVERYONE must go and get hurt!
Andy and I (being the third coolest person ever - according to the list which I'm yet to make in my next maths lesson with anz) have been considering making a compilation CD of unsigned bands round the UK in the hope of getting at least one <cough cough - morgans puff adder - JON!> signed. It's going to cost rather a lot (for us - not you!) and take ages to do.. but "if Jim can do it, anyone can!" Plus Andy's guitar teacher (? probably wasn't listening) can get writable cds "dirt cheap".. which is helpful. So if any of you people wish to get a track added to this experimental cd of ours, please let mr "I can't be bothered to put my unsuccessfuls cd review up yet" know by throwing a couple e-mails at him > pigeon@catch-the-pigeon.com
As you MAY be able to see, we now have some capdown pix up and I actually think they're alright! If you're almost as sad as me, and have large amounts of posters on your walls of unknown shit (capdown are not shit by the way!!) bands, the pictures ARE printable!! And they look pretty fine so long as you use photo-ish paper and make sure they actually fit on your page... Nows the time to add that this only applys for the newer pictures taken with a digital camera.. sorry! And now is also the time to add that I don't think you should bother, cos it takes ages.

Farse interview is COMPLETED! Great fun doing it, ace people, cool accents, cute singer. Buy their new album - like it a lot.

There is a Farse interview on it's way, there are a couple little bits up already if you care to take a look.
The 4ft fingers interview is finished - spankboy one is being re-done as I missed way too much stuff out and I need an excuse for keeping the dictaphone even longer than planned.
Farse / relvis trol / whitmore / 4ft finger / more than normal pictures will soon be up - hopefully by sunday - if not, never!
Flying marrows - Flown the roost cd review will also be put up fairly soon.
Defcon night last night was actually very good, I was deeply upset when being ignored by my brother though, just way too cool to care about family members! ass hole.

I've now decided to leave this site EXACTLY how it is.. once I've made a few changes, beeecause, Mr.Andrew has spent about 2 months of his life building a much nicer place for you all to get lost in and I keep being a bint and up-dating this one so he gets really far behind and has to bla bla bla, I won't bother explaing it, I'm too tired. Anyway, Everything is in a mess and not finished on here for a reason. So I say, don't come back until christmas.

More Bad news
R-I-P Deriek Van Niekerk. (guitarist of four minute warning!)
I don't know if you want to hear the story I've heard or not, but I'll paste it down anyway.. (The links <here> if you want to read it yourself)
"A reward is being offered in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old Port Elizabeth man (This being the guitar player from 4 minute warning) who was shot dead, while his girlfriend and a friend were hijacked, robbed and raped on Friday night in Claremont, Cape Town police said on Saturday.
Police Captain Jacques Wiese said Deriek van Niekerk and his 22-year-old girlfriend, also from Port Elizabeth, were driving in Claremont with another 21-year-old woman friend when the incident occurred.
Wiese said: "As the group stopped at the corner of Grove Avenue and Grove Walk in Claremont, three men approached the vehicle and one of the suspects fired a shot at the driver (Deriek), fatally wounding him in the head. The three suspects drove off with the two female passengers to Khayelitsha where they tied both victims to a tree."
He said one of the victims was reportedly raped by one of the suspects.
"The suspects robbed both victims of their cellphones and bank cards and forced them to reveal their bank card pin numbers, before fleeing in Van Niekerk's vehicle."
The two victims were left tied to the tree.
One victim managed to untie herself and her friend and both ran to a nearby service station for assistance.
Police discovered Van Niekerk's burnt out vehicle in the Gugulethu area on Saturday morning.
Anyone with information has been requested to contact investigating officer Captain Eddie Clark on cell number 083-635-4447 or Crime Stop on 08600-10111 or 10111. - Sapa."

Bad News 1st:
Be prepared to have your day ruined.
Route 215 Pop/punk signed to 20deck. No longer have the beautiful Mikey with them. They will still be going on tour though, with the kind help from Jon-skirtbox filling in their empty spot, but things will never be the same.
Despite the fact one member has departed, Route 215 still kick ass, and there is no excuse not to continue supporting them and showing up to their gigs. If plans stay the same, they'll still be going off to the studio to record their full-length album. *Fingers crossed.* I also want to quickly ask you to all try your best to get a copy of the Route 215 split with C*E, so good!! www.20deck.com

Good News:
Two pretty amazing signings.
Number one - By far the best band to have ever come from Tunbridge Wells, *Ye Wiles* can now stick up their noses to you all because they really are signed to House Hold Name Records! It's taken a long time for me to believe it - but it is true! Beat that with your stick.
Number two - Spankboy! Yes indeed, the 7 wonders of the earth are officially a part of the Moon Ska Europe Family! Expect to see and hear a hell of a lot more of them.
